Probably not the best thing to watch if you have any issues with dubstep, bacon, or awesomeness, but this is a great promo video for the 2012 tour of leetUP.
The best way that I can explain leetUP is to call it a nerd carnival. Starting as one show in L.A.’s Nokia Theatre, leetUP is a mix of live podcasting, musical performances, stand-up comedy, old school arcade games, unreleased game demos, new technology demos, and probably a few other things that change from show to show.
The best part is that they’re taking leetUP on the road. While they haven’t announced any tour dates, I’ve e-mailed them practically begging them to come to Richmond because we’ve got such a huge student body that would love to check something like this out, especially VCU’s ad school. I actually got an e-mail back saying that it would be cool for them to try to get help from students/the school to form a street team, or even have a class project that would have something to do with the show itself.
